The Beetlejuice Lip Trend is taking over the beauty world, known for its bold, daring contrast of neon brights and deep, dark shades. But what if you don’t have neon lipstick on hand? My Beetlejuice Lip Trend Products (No Neon? No Problem!)

The classic Beetlejuice lip trend might be all about neon, but I found creative ways to get dramatic with a range of lipsticks. From fiery reds to deep browns, I’ve got you covered with all the juicy details on how I pulled this off.

Mac Carbon Black

Quick Tip: For eyeshadow, I used MAC’s Carbon Black— to amp up the drama. Stick to matte for that true Beetlejuice vibe.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Life’s A Beach (Bright Coral)

First up in my Beetlejuice lip experiment: Life’s A Beach from NYX’s Liquid Suede line. This bright, vivid coral is playful, bold, and full of summer vibes. It’s not neon, but it sure packs a punch!

The creamy texture made it super easy to blend with darker shades. I loved how the coral contrasted with the black shadow, creating a bold twist on the Beetlejuice lip look.

Now, let’s talk about NYX Kitten Heels, a fierce, fiery bold red lipstick that is basically an instant head-turner. This statement red lip look screams confidence, and it’s perfect for the bold red lip trend.

Kitten Heels brought the heat and really delivered that bold red lip look we all love.

NYX Tea Cookiesjpg

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Tea Cookies (Muted Tea Rose Pink)

Next up is Tea Cookies, a soft pink lipstick that added a subtle touch to my Beetlejuice-inspired look. This muted shade was perfect for toning down the bright, in-your-face colors and giving the lip look a bit more balance.

The rose pink lip look coupled with the black shadow looked extremely scary and really did justice to the Beetlejuice Lip Trend

Beetlejuice Lip Trend - MAC Antiqiue velvet

MAC Lipstick in Antique Velvet

Now, for that vampy Beetlejuice vibe, I turned to MAC’s Antique Velvet, a rich, deep brown  brought all the witchy drama I needed. This vampy brown lipstick gave the look a moody edge but unfortunately it didn’t look that well as the black shadow did not fit the dark side of the Beetlejuice lip trend.

But, let me tell you the dark brown shade was a whole vibe.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Sydney (Light Purple)

Let’s switch it up with a fun, witchy twist—enter Sydney from NYX.

Because of the last experience, I used with Sydney from NYX, a light purple lipstick, for the witchy twist. The pastel lip color looked extremely well with the trend. It added the perfect quirky contrast to the deeper tones in the look.

The soft lilac played so well and was equal parts edgy and unexpected. It’s the kind of color that’ll make people ask, “What shade are you wearing?!”

Luscious Cosmetics Raspberry (Bold Berry Pink)

Ready for a pop of fun? I added Luscious Cosmetics Raspberry, a bold berry pink that brought flirty, playful vibes to the whole Beetlejuice-inspired look. This shade gave the look a fresh, fun twist while still keeping it fierce.

Raspberry is perfect for those who love bold berry lipsticks—it’s vibrant, flirty, and packs a punch.

NYX Sierra Lipstick (Nude)

Lastly, I gave the nude lip a shot with NYX’s Sierra. Surprisingly, it worked super well as a balancing shade.

Always a win.

The Neon Lip Hack: Neon lip look without neon lipstick, how to DIY neon lips

Alright, so the Beetlejuice trend usually calls for neon lips, and while I didn’t have a neon lipstick, I got creative. I tried mixing Maybelline’s Gold School (a gold shimmer), Wet n Wild’s Sugar (bright white), and NYX’s Lagoon Sparkle (a shimmery blue-green). Did it work? Nope. But hey, you never know until you try, right?

Not giving up, I went all out with Revlon’s Crème Eyeshadow, mixing green and black eyeshadows for a Beetlejuice-inspired lip. Was it a success? Still no. But that’s the beauty of makeup—sometimes it’s all about having fun and experimenting!

Final Thoughts: Get Creative, Babe!

Even though I didn’t have neon lipstick, I still ended up with some seriously bold and beautiful lip looks. From bright corals to rich browns, the Beetlejuice lip trend can be recreated in so many fun ways.

Moral of the story? You don’t need every exact product to nail a makeup trend. Use what you have, mix it up, and just have fun! Makeup is all about creativity and expression, so don’t be afraid to go bold, try new things, and slay in your own way!
