The focus of today’s post is about the Daraz Select Embroidered Kurti for women made of cotton, which I recently received as part of their partner program. I have previously tried a plain material shirt from Daraz Select and was impressed with its quality. I assure you that this review is a fair and unbiased evaluation of the product.
Daraz, an online platform under the umbrella of Ali Baba, has expanded its offerings by launching its own product line, including Daraz Select.
Features of Daraz Select Embroidered Kurti
Affordability
Daraz Select offers a very good value for money at Rs 699. Embroidered shirts in a comfortable material don’t come less than this price in the market given the high rate of inflation and electricity shortage in the country. It is at this price a steal.
Material
The material is Lawn – Cotton. I was not expecting it be comfortable by the looks of it but surprisingly, it is extremely comfortable and is not itchy. I hate clothes that are itchy and have Khaddar / stiff cotton like textures.
Design
The shirt has a collar and sadly, I don’t prefer wearing collar shirts other than corporate wear. It is due to restricted options for Jewlerry and hairdo and also given the heat and humidity, the collar gives uneasy feelings. But, that doesn’t mean that the shirt doesn’t look smart. It looks pretty smart if you have a petite & slim frame like me.
Colour
It’s colour is coffee brown and it is more good than it appears in the picture. The shirt is cut in a straight line with length of around 36 inches
Embroidery
The gold thread embroidery has added versatility to the Kurti and made it suitable to wear in semi casual occasions with gold dupatta & gold/coffee trouser
Aicha’s Recommendation
I find the Daraz Select extremely good on the price level, especially with the embroidery that solves the hassle of going to Tailor.

- Material not see through
Cons
Sizes not available, sadly.
Also, the threads were coming off and the quality is not for long time use. But, given the price its is pretty cost efficient
