Easy Valentine makeup look Tutorial
Skin Prep for Easy Valentine makeup look
I begin by prepping my skin with L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence. It is deeply hydrating. Take a moment to let it absorb fully before moving on to the next step.
For the primer, I selected Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. It is renowned for its ability to minimize the appearance of pores, and is particularly beneficial for those with oily or combination skin, as it helps manage excess oil and shine throughout the day.
For the delicate eye area, I turn to Estée Lauder’s DayWear 24H-Moisture Creme. Enriched with soothing botanical extracts like cucumber and chamomile, this gentle formula calms and comforts the skin.
Using Ingrid Ideal Eyes eyeshadow – 06
Then, I applied the stunning gold and coral shade from Ingrid Ideal Eyes eyeshadow – 06, all over my eyelids.
Drawing the Wing
Alright, let’s nail that classic winged eyeliner for the Easy Valentine makeup look!
So, for the wing, I grabbed the Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner from Rimmel. This eyeliner’s awesome, especially for beginners, ’cause its tip is super precise. Just start with little strokes. And if it starts drying out, just run it under some water for a few seconds to revive it. Easy peasy!
Color Correction for Easy Valentine Makeup
Since I’m dealing with acne spots these days, I wanted to color correct them. I stumbled upon another trick: using a semi-matte lipstick. I opted for a shade that’s one tone darker than my skin from NOTE Beauty from their Matte Moist Lipstick line in shade 07 – I applied it sparingly over my face, blending it gently with my fingers for smooth coverage, then waited for it to dry.
The key is to use a small amount; otherwise, your face might end up looking too brown or orange. And don’t overblend it!
Oh, and it just occurred to me that I still haven’t tried the Maxfactor Miracle Pure concealer – seems pretty cool.
Using Maxfactor Miracle Pure Foundation
For the foundation, I opted for a lightweight one from Maxfactor. It’s packed with skin-improving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Literally, it feels incredibly comforting on the skin like a hydrating cream and probably you will love it more if you’ve got dry skin. Plus, it blends like a dream.
Here’s how I do it: just dab a bit of Maxfactor Miracle Pure Foundation onto my face and blend it outward. I usually start with my fingers, then switch to a damp blender. It’s a game-changer; saves on product and gives you that flawless blend.
Oh, and here’s a tip: It’s more like a BB cream than full coverage.
Using Photo Focus Concealer – Wet n Wild – Ivory
For the concealer, I applied Wet n Wild’s Photo Focus Concealer in the shade Ivory to problem areas, aiming to give my face a bit of a lift.
Using Color Icon Blush Naked Brown
To give my cheeks a flush, I selected a warm-toned blush.
Here’s how I do it: Smile and apply Wet n Wild’s Color Icon Blush in Naked Brown to the temples, jawbones, and contours of the nose, blending upwards for a lifted effect. Actually, I used it more as a contour than a blush.
Baking Face Using Loose Setting Powder – Laura Mercier:
To set my makeup in place. I lightly dusted my face with a translucent loose setting powder. I focused on the under eyes and smile lines, allowing the Laura Mercier loose setting powder to ‘bake’ for a few minutes before dusting off any excess.
Using La Perla Divina Shimmer
For extra glam for Easy Valentine makeup look. I reached for La Perla Divina Shimmer to amp up the sparkle.
Using MAC Highlighter
For an extra pop of radiance, I used the Mac Hyper Glow Highlighter Palette, applying it to the usual areas. It instantly turned me into a Golden Goddess. Definitely one of the best highlighters out there!

Lining Lips with NYX Urban Cafe Lip Liner
I’ve always loved this Lip Liner called Urban Cafe from NYX because it has the ability to transform any lipstick into a beautiful masterpieces, especially for brown skin tones.
Unfortunately, somehow I broke the twist, and now I have to sharpen it with a sharpener. Please tell me, how I can fix it.
TIP: One advantage of using lip liner is that it also prevents the lipstick from bleeding.
Classic Red Lip with Ruby Woo from MAC
No Valentine’s Day makeup look is complete without a bold red lip, and the queen of red lipstick is none other than the iconic Ruby Woo from MAC. Obviously, I had to pick that. I applied it in simple dabs since it’s a matte lipstick, then dragged it all over my lips. Its true matte formula makes application a bit different from normal lipsticks, but the color payoff? OMG! It looks so beautiful on my skin tone. I further defined it using a lip brush, and I fell in love with my lips all over again.
Using Colossal Mascara Maybelline
To finish off my Easy Valentine makeup look, I used my trusty Maybelline Colossal Mascara. I added a few coats of volumninizing mascara to give my lashes extra length and definition.
Final Look
And there you have it—an easy Easy Valentine makeup look with bold lips and winged eyeliner. Step back and admire!
