Step 1 : Skin prep

Before we dive into creating the perfect look, it’s crucial to prep your skin to ensure a flawless finish

To start, I have used Neutrogena’s Spot Controlling Moisturiser to hydrate my skin and create the perfect canvas for my makeup. This moisturiser is particularly great for acne-prone and oily skin types, as it helps to prevent irritation and breakouts.

Not only does it hydrate my skin, but it also creates a cooling sensation upon application, which feels refreshing and invigorating. Plus, it helps to control excess sebum production, ensuring that my makeup lasts longer and doesn’t slide off throughout the day.

By starting with a well-prepped skin, you’ll be able to achieve a stunning Eid makeup look without drying your skin.

Step 2 : Eye Base

It is important to use the eye base to create a stunning makeup look as it is  essential to help your eyeshadow pop and show its true colors.

This step is especially important for those with brown and dark skin tones, as the eyelids tend to be darker than the rest of the face. To achieve the perfect eye base, I always turn to my go-to product, the Ingrid All Mineral Silk & Lift.

This eye base is the perfect color for my skin tone and helps to keep my eye makeup in place for longer period of time. By using an eye base, you’ll be able to create a flawless base for your eyeshadow and ensure that your eye makeup lasts all day and night.

Step 3 : Doing the Eyes – Pastel eyeshadow

Now, it’s time to add some color to your eyes with pastel eyeshadow! For this Eid makeup tutorial, I decided to use a beautiful powder blue shade on my lid. To further accentuate the eyes, I incorporated a hint of shimmer eyeshadow in Blue jeans from Nyx to add depth. To brighten up the inner corner and as a highlight, I added a white sparkling shade. All of this was achieved using the Ingrid Cosmetics Lookbook Number 110.

To complement the pastel eyeshadow, I added a pop of color with a pink eyeliner. I used a pink eyeshadow to create an elongated liner at the end, giving it a soft and subtle look. You can also try this look with a purple or green eyeshadow for added variety.

To complete the eye makeup, I used a brow filler to enhance my eyes. Since this is a daytime makeup look, I skipped the mascara to keep it more natural.

Step 4 : Doing the Dewy Face

To create a dewy and flawless face, I used the Foundcealer from Bourjois – a stick foundation in the shade Honey Beige 440. This foundation is a great discovery for acne-prone and oily skin, as it provides full coverage without feeling too heavy on the skin. (Stay tuned for my review on this product!)

Next, I added a touch of brightness to my under-eye area using the LA Girl HD Pro Concealer, and applied lightly. To set it in place, I used the finishing powder from NYX, which helped to keep my makeup looking fresh throughout the day and gave a lifted look to the face.
