INKEY List Kaolin Clay Mask vs. Other Clay Masks: Which Stands Out?
I’m a big fan of Neutrogena® Spot Controlling 2-in-1 Face Wash Mask and use it as a multipurpose mask to dry my active acne and for controlling the sebum and oil from my face.
It was my positive experience with Neutrogena that piqued my interest in trying out INKEY List Kaolin Clay mask.
The Kaolin clay of Neutrogena® Spot Controlling 2-in-1 Face Wash Mask is more white and is drying but the INKEY List Kaolin Clay mask is little bit greyish in color and is non drying.
However, I must admit I’m rather disappointed after using The INKEY List Kaolin Clay mask, primarily due to the fact that it didn’t dry out my acne and also due to its peculiar scent.
Furthermore, not only is the INKEY List Kaolin Clay mask pricier than Neutrogena, but it also falls short of its promise to control shine and combat active acne.
Aicha’s Recommendation : Is INKEY List Kaolin Clay Mask worth it
After using the INKEY List Kaolin Clay Mask for several weeks, I didn’t notice any significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin.
While it did effectively cleanse my skin and helped give me a smoother texture, it fell short in reducing the size of my active pimples. This might be due to its non-drying formula.
Additionally, I found the persistent odd sunflower seed smell quite bothersome – not the kind of fragrance I appreciate in skincare. The peculiar hospital-like scent was a turn-off.
Aicha’s Verdict : 6/10
In my opinion, The INKEY List Kaolin Clay Mask is suitable for people living in colder climates with dry skin and of Caucasian descent but Indian brown or Asian skin is different and certainly INKEY has not taken into account our skin type while formulating the mask.
