Kitten Heels is a beautiful red colour with orange undertones. It comes a perfect red for brown skin beauties.
For long, I wanted to get my hands on Kitten heels as it has been compared with Stunna by Fenty Beauty and Ruby Woo from Mac Cosmetics. Although, I have tried Ruby Woo, I have not got my hands on Stunna by Fenty Beauty which became a rage after Liquid lipstick took the cosmetic world by storm.
When I saw the Kitten Heels available on Daraz, I decided to give it a try. I wore it with Mac Ruby Woo, Lip liner as liquid lipsticks turn to bleed and are unmanageable. However, I was surprised to find that Kitten Heels could be worn without a lip liner as well as opposed to other liquid lipsticks from the same range.
Price:
The lipstick is very affordable around Rs 900 in Pakistan and about $7-8 USD in the United States.
Packaging:
It comes in a long cylindrical tube with a long applicator . Although not that heavy but if you intend to carry more than few lipstick then I consider it not being very travel friendly.
Quantity:
The quantity of the lipstick at the offered price is very attractive and lipstick goes a long time.
Pigmented:
Like all the other lipstick from Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick range, Kitten heels is very pigmented. A single swipe is enough to give a good coverage. One of the best thing about the colour is that you can wear it, without a lip liner as well. Although, I personally consider that with the lip liner the lasting increases making it appear very beautiful too.
Finish:
It is a matte finish lipstick that dries quickly into a matte lipstick. This lipstick is not buildable which means you cant build it layer upon layer. If a mistake happens then you have to redo it.
Texture:
Kitten heels is a very lightweight and glides smoothly on the lips.
Hydrating:
One of the thing that we fear wearing Liquid lipstick is that these are too dry and makes the lips patchy but thank god due to the presence of the Vitamin E, olive oil & Avocado oil in it. I found it very hydrating and comfortable on the lips
Lasting:
The lipstick stays on well for 6-7 hours. It does fade a little if you drink or eat something, but does leave a nice stain behind. I didn’t find it to be water proof.
Smudge Proof:
Being a liquid lipstick, Kitten Heels is smudge proof. The best thing about it is that stays a long time
Kitten Heels looks extremely gorgeous on an evening look especially with gold makeup. Even wearing it alone is enough to light up the entire makeup look. It is sophistication at an affordable price.
