Salon visits can be a luxury we crave but often struggle to fit into our busy schedules. The rising costs of beauty treatments, especially in today’s inflation-hit world, can make pampering sessions feel like a distant dream. That’s why I decided to explore the world of at-home facial kits and recently tried out the Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit. Today, I’ll share my honest review with you.
What is Muicin
First things first, let’s talk about Muicin. It’s a brand that paints the picture that it hails from Germany, which initially caught my attention due to the rarity of German beauty brands in Pakistan. However, I was shocked to learn more about the brand’s background. While Muicin utilizes German technology in its products, its ownership and origins are closely tied to Pakistan, with the brand being associated with an entrepreneur named Abu Bakr from Mandi Bahauddin, a remote area in Pakistan.
Packaging
The first impression of the Muicin Facial Kit was mixed.
The packaging of the Muicin Facial Kit didn’t exactly wow me. It lacked the aesthetic appeal I usually associate with skincare products. The coloring is confusing and bothers the eye with beige on beige.
However, what did impress me was the generous quantity of each product in the kit, with all of them being 100 ml, providing good value for money.
Now, let’s dive into the steps of using the Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit:

Steps in Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit:
Unveiling the Steps:
One notable drawback of the Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit was the lack of clear instructions regarding the steps. Unlike some other facial kits, the products in this kit were not clearly labeled for each step, leading to initial confusion. However, upon closer inspection, I was able to decipher the intended sequence of use.
Step 1: Muicin – Cleanser
The first step is the cleanser, like other facial kits. This cleanser has a refreshing scent and a creamy texture. It is white in color. Although Muicin recommends massaging it into the skin and rinsing with cold water, I didn’t see the lather forming using it without water. However, the cleanser effectively helps in removing the dead skin and dirt from the face.
Step 2: Muicin Exfoliating Scrub
The second step is the Muicin Exfoliating Scrub. This scrub felt grainy yet gentle on the skin. It is basically rice water jelly. It removes the dead skin very well from the face. It’s important to note that it contains Paraben, so don’t forget to follow up with sunscreen after using it. Surprisingly, it doesn’t say that we have to remove it.
Step 3: Muicin Mask
The mask application was a bit different from what I’m used to, as it comes earlier in the routine rather than as the final step. The mask is just like the scrub, same look and feel and almost the same texture, but it is a little bit smoother.
Muicin recommends using a thin layer and remove it with moisturising cream, but I chose the wet cotton. It has a soothing fragrance and leaves the skin feeling refreshed. The mask feels cool on the face.
Step 4: Muicin Skin Polish
The skin polish had a grainy consistency, and I was concerned that the Skin polish might be bleach, but it is different and is a cream more like a gel. Muicin recommends rinsing it after application, and I don’t see the need for it, and it didn’t actually do much for my skin.
Step 5: Muicin Massage Cream
The massage cream is meant to relax the skin and has a smooth consistency and a pleasant fragrance. I prefer to use a small amount since there is a follow-up serum afterward as well. People with sensitive skin should know that this contains Phenoxyethanol, which has been reported to cause skin irritation, especially in individuals with sensitive skin. Additionally, there are concerns about its potential to act as an endocrine disruptor.
Step 6: Muicin Blemish Care Serum
The last step in the facial is the Muicin Blemish Care Serum, which comes in a small bottle and is to be used in small amounts. The brand says that it helps in the discoloration of dark spots but I have not used it enough.
As far as texture is concerned, It is indeed a little bit oily but lightweight and absorbs well into the skin. And it is also has mild fragrance.
Aicha’s Recommendation – Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit:
Final Thoughts:
In evaluating the Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit, quality-wise, it delivers decent results despite some drawbacks in clarity of instructions and ingredient concerns.
Analyzing Marketing Strategies:
While there’s nothing inherently wrong with Muicin being a Pakistani brand, (Pakistani people have inferiority complex regarding using Pakistan-made products) its attempt to exclusively present itself as German raises integrity concerns. The use of German technology is commendable, but the misleading presentation undermine trust among consumers.
Recommendation and Conclusion:
In conclusion, for individuals seeking an affordable at-home facial kit with skincare benefits, Muicin Anti Aging Rice Care Facial Kit may be worth considering. However, prospective buyers should be aware of the brand’s backstory, marketing strategies, and ingredient compositions to make an informed decision. As consumers, we have a right to transparency and honesty in product presentation, and it’s essential for brands like Muicin to uphold these values to maintain trust and credibility in the market.
