Tea & cookies – NYX | Pink lipstick matte
NYX Tea & Cookies is a beige-pink shade from NYX Professional Makeup’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick. Unfortunately, I broke its applicator like a pair of kitten heels. URGHHH, NYX, you really need to work on the applicator tip.
It is a tricky lipstick that can look ethereal if you use it correctly. I recommend pairing it with a brown, red or pink lip liner, as wearing it alone might wash you out, especially if you have Indian brown or brown skin. It is quite similar to another shade called Sydney from NYX.
Tea & Cookies is a bubbly schoolgirl lipstick that teenagers can easily wear. It belongs to the affordable drugstore range and has a matte finish, which means you don’t have to reapply it constantly. And, it will last a long time. So for work, it is definitely the one.
Chic Raspberry – Note Beauty
Chic Raspberry is a bold raspberry pink shade. It has a creamy formula that is very easy to apply. While it looks nice on Indian brown or brown skin, I believe it would look gorgeous on any skin tone, especially olive skin. However, for deeper skin tones, it might be a bit too loud. If you are not comfortable with bold lipsticks it might scare you off. So, although it is a one of the cute pink lipstick shades for brown skin you need to know to how to use this beauty.
This Turkish brand is both Halal and vegan, free from Paraben. Thanks to the inclusion of shea butter and macadamia oil, this lipstick feels incredibly creamy and comfortable on the lips.
However, it is not long-lasting and tends to fade easily. Therefore, it’s important to keep it in your bag for touch-ups. In terms of price, it is affordable considering the size of the lipstick and its longevity.
Furthermore, I find the price range to be very reasonable, especially for a vegan, product. Additionally, Note Cosmetics has not compromised on the quantity. They offer a standard-sized lipstick that can comfortably last a long time, even with daily use.
