Today’s review is about Shokh Eyeshadow Palette from Zay Beauty, which is an instagram famous beauty brand. It has been founded by Zainab Rashid
The Sokh eyeshadow palette has 13 shades and comes in a beautiful colour book-style palette. The product is made in China and the brand is claimed as vegan and cruelty free.

How to Apply :
Shimmery eye shades are better applied with a finger tip. But for dramatic effect you can try a wet/damp brush
My Experience
Zay Beauty is a Pakistani brand that got its hype from Instagram. I wanted to try the most popular product out of it and Shokh Palette is the brand’s hot seller.
One of the most appealing things about the palette was the variety of matte shades in blue. Although I ‘m still on the hunt for the hot pink matte eyeshadow. The Guddi color from the palette is a cotton candy pink although not what I wanted but still similar. The pink eye shade is pretty girly and is on trend. Also, it gives a very youthful appearance and you don’t need to apply any more makeup if you go with it.
Also, if you are Selena Gomez fan, then you would definitely know that she recently donned a look with pink eyeshades and was looking uber chic in that. So, if you want that look than Shokh Palette is definitely your canvas to start with.
Defined areas:
The palette has defined where to apply which colour for example;
Lid shiner
Crease blender
Dimensional
And brighteners in the pallets
But I don’t see apart from certain looks I think it depends most on the creativity of the artist and the consumer. There are 7 shimmery colours in the palette and while 6 are matte.
Price:
It costs at Rs 2,700 and with cash on delivery it is for Rs 2,900
Packaging:
The mirror came broken to me. The overall colour book picture is quite interesting though. Due to its light weight you can put it in your luggage but the size may be a problem to fit in hand bag.

I’m extremely happy with the pigmentation of Silver, Gold and Blue color. These can really mimic any high end brand.
Rest of the dimensions and the crease one are not that much pigmented or may be made to be just lighter for the specific purpose.

The palette contains both matte and shiny.

Aicha’s recommendation
Coming to the disappointing things on the pallet. One of the positive things about the palette & the brand is that it is cruelty free & vegan. Zay Beauty has done tremendous in terms of the colour book-style packaging. However, some of the colours are not as pigmented as they look in the palette. Secondly, the glitter falls off, which I don’t mind, but you need to take more product than loose glitter. Also, when you just bring one colour and, merge with another than the shades, don’t create another one; rather the existing shade stays there.
Other than that I think its a good value for money because so many colors are available, especially the combination is very pretty. And, definitely it will last a long time.
