Aicha’s Experience – Is Solaris Sunscreen good ?
I remember purchasing this sunscreen when I was first starting out with sun protection. It was an affordable option, may be because although it is under license from an American Company this sunblock is manufactured in Pakistan by Pharma Health.
I was intrigued by its claim of being specifically formulated for oily, acne-prone skin, as well as being paraben-free. I was in a rush to find a good sunscreen, so I went into autopilot mode and bought it.
To my relief, the sunscreen did not cause any breakouts or irritations on my skin. However, I was disappointed to find that I still got tanned despite using it. While I typically don’t burn easily due to my Indian brown skin, I think this product could potentially cause sunburn for people with lighter skin tones.
Upon further research, I discovered that this sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen without micro encapsulation, which can be dangerous if used in extreme heat. It’s important to be cautious and informed about the type of sunscreen you’re using and to take proper precautions to protect your skin from the sun.
