Make sure your eyelid is clean and ready for makeup. Remove any oils or leftover eyeshadow. You can use a primer or a bit of translucent powder to create a smooth base. My favourite primer is Ingrid Mineral Silk & lift so I have used that. Primer helps glide the pencil smoothly too.
