My Experience:
I purchased the balm randomly as I couldn’t find the petroleum jelly to prevent chapped lips. Unfortunately or fortunately the only variant available was Lolita though The balm comes in different variant of flavors that promises to leave a light tint on the lips.
“Lolita” is subtle raspberry pink color and has mesmerizing sweet vanilla fragrance. The pink tint in “Lolita” is designed to enhance the natural color of the lips while providing moisturisation. And on top of it, the sweet scent of vanilla make it a popular option among those who like to have a bit of fun with their lip care routine.

Is Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Balm substitute for vaseline ?
The thing that I don’t like about Baby Lips Moisturizing Balm is that it is not long lasting like petroleum jelly and needs constant reapplication. Vaseline small jar comes in a good quantity at this price so Maybelline should look into it. But yes, the hallmark of this Baby Lips Moisturizing Balm is the fact that it is a good substitute to subtle lipsticks.
In terms of usage, the brand recommends applying the balm to the lips as often as needed throughout the day to hydrate and nourish the lips. It can be used alone or under lipstick to hydrate the lips. And this is because it is not long lasting, and the idea behind reapplication throughout the day is that you use the product faster to purchase new tube of the Baby Lips Moisturizing Balm soon. I didn’t expect this from Maybelline. This is definitely not worth it Maybelline.

Very pigmented. A single swipe delivers excellent coverage to the lips. Moreover, all colours looks extremely beautiful on brown/South Asian skin tones.

It doesn’t last long as compared to vaseline and last for around 30 minutes or so. But the formula is pretty lightweight

It has a captivating strawberry scent which is very well balanced
