“Waxing” is another name for a self-torture ritual, and sadly, women go through it every month. However, today I will tell you about a good hair removal product that is quite effective in removing facial hair, called Body Luxuries Face Wax Strips. I have been using them for quite some time now. These are cold wax strips for the face and can be used easily by almost anyone – which is why I like them so much! No expert techniques are needed.
Body Luxuries is a Chinese brand that has been trying to capture the Asian market, similar to how Bath & Body or Soap & Glory has done in the West. However, the thing that I don’t like is how they have presented themselves as a UK-based brand. I mean, I hardly think that they are making the products in the UK. Apart from that, it is fine.
This particular wax strip is a cold wax strip for the face and can be used easily by almost anyone. Just go opposite the direction of hair growth. I particularly like using it because I dread threading and don’t like anyone touching my face unnecessarily.
What is in the Body Luxuries face wax strips pack?
The Body Luxuries Face Wax Strips comes with the following;
- 16 waxing strips
- 2 Post Depilation cleaning wipes
Most of the wax packs contains depilation cleaning wipes and that is one thing that they don’t use it in salons. I don’t know what do they do with the wipes. You can easily use the depilatory wipes after you are done with Body Luxuries face wax to leave any traces of the fact that you have waxed. And can say I was always smooth like a dolphin !

Body hair bothers me a lot. Even with advances in laser and other depilatory methods in the area of hair removal, waxing is still the most sought after.
Now, I have seen the perspective-changing pictures of the Iranian Princess Qajar from days gone by. She used to flaunt her facial mustache like Mario, and most astonishingly, she was considered the epitome of beauty in those days. Like seriously! I would prefer to go for self-torture than to emulate her beauty routine.
So naturally, I look for ways to dispose of the menace that displeases me and visits quite often, like an unwanted ex. So, in order to deal with them or eliminate them temporarily, I have found a sticky leech to be a friend. PARADOX! I know, I know, bearing a leech friend is as tormenting as a nasty ex 🙁
I like the texture of the Body Luxuries Face Wax Strips, and it is a good facial strip wax, which is quite extraordinary. I like the fact that it is not sticky like a Brazilian wax. Well, I prefer the Brazilian style for other things, but I don’t prefer Brazilian waxes in general, and after doing the job, Body Luxuries Face Wax Strips takes the graceful exit.
The width of the wax strips is quite good, and unless you have a forehead like a gorilla or one as widespread as the moon, you won’t be needing more than two strips ever.
I also like that the wax strips come with depilatory wipes to keep your face less sticky. However, one thing I miss is that pre-depilatory cleaning wipes are not provided, which can make the experience less painful.
Overall, Body Luxuries Face Wax Strips is an affordable and hygienic option, and I would recommend that you try it out. At least if you have to endure torture, let it be from your own hands!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Wax Strips are more effective when warm. To warm – rub the wax strips between hands for 30 seconds.
2. Ensure the skin is clean, dry and free of oils and moisturizers. Hair should be between 2-5mm long for best results.
3. Gently pull the strips apart exposing the wax surface. Ensure the wax surface does not come into contact with anything until the strip is used.
4 With the wax side facing the skin, firmly smooth the strip in the same direction as hair growth, for approximately 10 seconds, ensuring strip is securely fixed to the skin.
5. Holding the skin taut to avoid discomfort, quickly pull the strip back on itself against the direction your hair grows, keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible.
6. Repeat as necessary. Strips can be reused several times, until not sticky.
7. Remove excess wax on skin with body luxuries after waxing finish wipes.
