Today’s review is about Enraptured Red – 115 from BodyShop. It is a Color Crush Lipstick from Body Shop which is UK brand and more famous for its skin care range than makeup. BodyShop products prides itself as the first global brand to fight against animal testing in their cosmetics. All of their skin care and makeup range is vegetarian and free from mineral oils/petrolatum, gluten and crimen.
Enraptured Red – 115 is a smacking red colour infused with a rose scent and made with the finest color pigments which contributes to its intensity. Launched in 2013 for the first time, it comes in a 3.5 gm tube.

Body shop claims that Enraptured Red – 115 is enriched with Marula Oil which it source from Namibia, where the Marula tree grows in abundance. Marula fruit or Kernal Oil is the essential food and cosmetic product of the Namibian people. The trade helps 5,000 woman of the Eudafano Women`s Co-operative earn a fair income.

Aicha’s Experience -Best Red Lipstick
Enraptured Red – 115 from Bodyshop is one of my favourite lipsticks in the colour red with glossy finish. I have many red lipsticks but very few meet the standard of comfort and beauty together like Enraptured red. I have been using it, since 2014, and have repurchased it thrice. It has been my companion on the various occasion which made me chose it for the most important occasion of my life so far, my graduation day, and I attribute my confidence on stage and my good pictures (which I will cherish forever) which came that day to Enraptured red – 115 from the Bodyshop.
Red lipsticks are considered pretty bold but even then almost every girl is fascinated by it as it ensues power and confidence. Enraptured Red compliments brown skin (south asian) very well. It turned a stunning shade of crimson, a deep red on my skin tone, perhaps due to the presence of the cool undertones in the lipstick. Even though, I know it will give a different shade of red on different skin tones, I’m sure, nonetheless it will be gorgeous on everyone as it intended by bodyshop to be a fit for the red carpet.
Why non Matte lipsticks have low staying power
Enraptured Red is super saturated because it is made with the highest quality of the color pigments and a single sweep is enough to brighten the whole outlook. Due to its easy application and the fact that it is a beautiful color, it has become my GO-TO lipstick, especially, when I’m confused about what lipstick to wear, and it never disappoints me and always saves the day.
The texture is super moisturizing and very hydrating as it is enriched with Marula Oil from Namibia. However, perhaps due to this fact that it has a low staying power, but I guess, it is expected of in a non – matte lipstick. Even if it disappears, it does leave a good stain on the lips.
The BodyShop Lipstick – Enraptured Red – 115 from BodyShop
Infused with a subtle rose scent which is very pleasant and a bonus for me as a fragrance lover. Scents excite me very much. However, it is so subtle that it won’t be a problem for anyone, who does not prefer to have it in cosmetics/skincare.
Overall, either you are wearing it alone on along with a heavy or light eye makeup, Enraptured Red will look good and it is my promise after a 5 year old experience or you could say relationship with it.

Texture:
The texture is very creamy and glides easily on the lips due to the presence of Marula Oil from Namibia

Enraptured red – 115 from Body shop has a glossy finish.
Lasting
The lipstick stays on well for 6-7 hours, only if you stay away from eating and drinking and don’t have a habit of licking your lips even then it does leave a nice crimson stain behind.
