Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam: Clear Skin Delight

AICHA’S Experience – Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam

I simply love Korean skin care because it takes a different approach compared to American skincare. Korean skincare focuses on using gentle ingredients, and it clearly shows on the beautiful Korean skin.

Dealing with acne can be frustrating, which is why I always seek out products specifically designed to tackle this issue. My passion for skincare led me to discover an amazing foam cleanser from Heimish, a new and innovative Korean brand that was launched in 2016 and has been making waves ever since.

Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam is a specially formulated product that targets acne-related concerns. However, what truly intrigued me was the inclusion of the word “Biome” by the brand. This innovative concept sets Heimish apart in the skincare world, making it a true next-generation skincare brand.

Thanks to the Matcha Fermented Probiotics utilized in this cleanser, it ensures the revitalization of the beneficial bacteria on our skin, effectively eliminating the harmful bacteria that contribute to acne and pimples.

That might be the reason why it contains only 0.5% salicylic acid, making it suitable for sensitive skin that tends to get irritated by higher concentrations of salicylic acid.

Next, let’s talk about the inclusion of Amino acids in this cleanser. Amino acids are quite popular ingredients in Korea. These are the building blocks of proteins and help repair skin. Overall, every ingredient used in this cleanser is gentle and works in harmony to combat acne effectively.

One of the great things I noticed about this product is that it is all-natural and has a low pH, which is beneficial for treating acne and removing dead skin cells. Maintaining a low pH in skincare products is crucial as it helps balance the skin barrier and inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria that can cause irritation, dryness, and acne.

HEIMISH Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam is good for sensitive skin as it doesn’t contain any fragrance and you can smell just a faint Herbaceous matcha fragrance which you won’t be able to smell if you don’t put your mind to it.

Packaging of Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam

I absolutely adore the packaging of this product. The box is meticulously designed with a crisp and grainy texture, possibly made from recycled paper. This attention to detail has significantly increased my admiration for Heimish. I particularly enjoy tapping my fingers on recycled paper, it’s something I truly love.

Furthermore, they have taken care to keep the packaging green, perfectly matching the MATCHA theme. The cleanser itself is conveniently housed in a standard tube with a green cap, making it effortless to dispense.

How Heimish Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam feels like ?

To be completely honest, I didn’t have high expectations for this product, given my past disappointments with other cleansing foams.

I loved how much lather was created by a teeny tiny  drop facial foam. It effectively cleansed my skin, leaving it squeaky clean and removing dirt and excess oil that can contribute to the formation of acne.

While using this product, I did experience some tightness on my skin. However, it could be due to the fact that I was already using other oil-reducing and anti-acne facial products. Alternatively, it could be because (thankfully) I currently don’t have active acne or an excess buildup of oil.

To remedy the tightness, I simply applied a moisturizer, and I would recommend you to do the same. However, for the sake of writing this blog for my wonderful readers, I decided to experiment without using a moisturizer. After some time, I noticed the tightness subsiding, but it was replaced with a slightly sticky feeling, which I believe was due to the good bacteria doing their work.

In my opinion, if you have fewer active acne concerns, it might be a good idea to ditch other facial washes and stick to this one.

The quantity of the product is sufficient to last for at least 4-5 months, even with daily use, as a little bit goes a long way.

One amazing benefit that I personally experienced is that it helped me sweat less. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but I did notice a reduction in sweating, which was fantastic, especially living in a tropical zone.
