This amazing European brand was founded by Ada Masotti in 1954. Apart from beauty line, the brand is famous for their lingerie designs.

Is La Perla shimmer an every day shimmer ?
If you think of shimmer, then gold or copper comes to mind. However, the world of shimmer is broader than that. I got my hands on La Perla’s shimmer since, I was bored with the extremely shiny highlighters that are difficult to wear on a daily basis, especially during day time.
La Perla’s shimmer has a powdery texture in purple pinkish hue and as its settles, it gives a really beautiful subtle shine, especially on my indian/brown skin and makes you look fresh without giving it a dramatic effect. It is excellent to wear during office/ meetings as it very subtle and don’t come too bold.
Also, if you drool over Korean skin care like me, this makeup baby is the step ahead in the right direction.
Shimmer versus Highlighter?
A lot of people don’t know the difference between the two. Highlighter is used on the high point of the face while the shimmer can be used all over. Shimmer can be mixed with foundation to get the sparkly smooth skin.
