Feed the Senses

A light brown shade which is creamy, lustrous, neutral and looks good in the day time. Because it is very light and on the neutral side, I think in the evening it would look only good if you wear it with dark eye makeup and a darker lip liner to enhance the overall look.  However, a good thing about it is that it is not washing me out completely. And,I think with a darker brown lip liner it would pop out more.

Smoked Rose

A very, very beautiful bold matte pink shade and it looks very good on my brown skin with yellow undertones. I think it is somewhat similar to Candy Yum Yum from MAC cosmetics, albeit a darker version of it. Because, it is a darker shade so if you want to wear it during the day then just wear this alone. And, that is it; your look is complete with a bit of foundation and beautiful smoked rose. WOAH ! 

Cool Companion:

A muted creamy ultra-lustrous light purple shade, which is appropriate for day time. But I think if I wear it alone then it washes me out because of my brown skin with yellow undertones. However, I realized that if you wear it for a long time, then it gets assimilated into the skin to give a very subtle creamy purple shade like a matte lipstick.

Also, it makes my lips appear bigger and plumper, which is a plus to wear it . And my recommendation is that, if you want to wear it for an important occasion, then choose the appropriate lip liner or a darker lipstick with it. For example, try Aria from NYX cosmetics.

 Just Chillin‘

So, this is the main lipstick on which MAC has named the Look in a Box Just Chillin’ set. It is a bold hot pink shade which has a tint of red in it and gives a very summary, cute feel despite being a bold shade. Just Chillin’ is a matte and looks very flattering on my brown skin. I think it is similar to All fired up from Mac cosmetics.

And, I think a very good alternative for red lipstick to lift your spirits and brighten your mood. So, If you are bored with wearing red lipsticks than Just chillin’ lipstick is definitely the kind of lipstick to help you make your decision to purchase the Look in Box Just Chillin’ set.  Overall, it is a very cute shade, very summery and vivacious.

Morning Breeze  

Beautiful, lustrous brown shade and my favorite lipstick from the Just Chillin’ set from MAC. Morning Breeze is one shade that looks great without a lip liner too, and it is one of those shades that will look good on any other skin tone.

Because it is such a versatile color, you can play around with it so much. For example; Try wearing it with a darker lip liner during the day, and in the evening try wearing it with with smokey eye, glitter eye. If you wanna look fresh, try with neutral eye and wear it alone with a winged eye liner. I mean, with Morning Breeze the sky is the limit – definitely a BOMB SHADE.

Price

Look in a box Just Chillin’ is about $41 for 5 lip stains which is quite affordable due to the longevity & quality of the product. 

Packaging

These are mini size lipsticks and come in a set. Each lipstick matches the lip casing and the good thing is that you can take it along as it is very travel friendly.

Pigmentation

All the lipsticks of Look in a box Just Chillin’  are very pigmented. A single swipe delivers excellent coverage to the lips. Moreover, almost all colors look extremely beautiful on brown/South Asian skin tones. 

Finish

All the lipsticks from the Look in a Box Just Chillin’ set come in a variety of finishes, from creamy to matte and ultra lustrous.

Lasting

All the lipsticks are long-lasting due to the unique formula however if you drink or eat it will wear off. The Lipstick has a captivating scent which is very well balanced and arouses the olfactory senses to bring out the femininity of the wearer.
