If I’m not wrong then it is one of the first in the beauty industry to make a water based foundation. It is important to know that water based foundation are different from oil based as their main component is WATER. Thus, they do not react on the oily or acne prone skin.
Coverage:
One of the standout features of MAC’s Pro Long Wear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation is its coverage. As a full coverage foundation, it effectively conceals blemishes and imperfections, eliminating the need for additional concealer. Additionally, it is a buildable foundation, allowing you to achieve your desired level of coverage by reapplying with a brush as needed. This feature makes it a versatile option for those who desire a natural look or a more full coverage look. Overall, this foundation is an excellent choice for those looking for a long-lasting and nourishing foundation that provides full coverage.
Lasting:
Moreover, MAC claims that it lasts upto 36 hours. Although, I have not applied it for that long, but I can vouch for 8 – 10 hours straight. Boy! It didn’t budge and stay put throughout the time.
Finish:
Further, MAC Pro Long Wear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation has light emanating and photo filtering properties which means that the pictures come beautiful after wearing it. I use the NC 42 and NW 35 for me both works well. The NC 42 is used when I want to give a brighter appearance and NW 35 when I want the skin to look hydrated and more natural.
