It is very good that Remove has come up with warnings for the facial liposoluble wax pen to avoid any mishaps by  people due to inexperience or lack of knowledge. I consider the warnings are great to mention as the consumers are not just salon professionals but people from all walks of life.  Always read the warnings for any product before using it. 

HOW TO USE FACIAL LIPOSOLUBLE WAX

The gel should be of room temperature to be taken out of the pen, otherwise it is advised to put it in warm water or blow hot air through a blow dryer. Please be cautious to NEVER MICROWAVE OR BOIL it.

APPLICATION AREAS

The prospectus shows the facial areas where the FACIAL LIPOSOLUBLE WAX FACIAL LIPOSOLUBLE WAX – RETOUCH PEN FROM REMOVE can be applied. It is also advised to not use it on eyebrows by people, who are not experienced in handling the eyebrows.

MY EXPERIENCE 

For long I had been searching for a separate, convenient facial waxing product. My concern has always been hygiene in the depilatory products. I have always found reusable waxing strips disgusting as the old hair is stuck on it, if used twice or more. To escape that, I started throwing away the strips by just using once which had put a considerable dent in my pocket.  But not anymore, Thankfully, as the Remove product comes with gel pen, the waxing strips can be easily brought separately at a cheap price, if needed.

The quantity of the FACIAL LIPOSOLUBLE WAX – RETOUCH PEN FROM REMOVE is enough to last around 3-4 months compared to the reusable waxing strips which is a huge relief for me. However, it would depend upon the hair growth and its texture.

The first time I used it, I had to warm it in hot water for few minutes. The  consistency of the gel is like honey, a little product is needed for every application. It is applied in the direction of the hair growth and pulled away in opposite direction. It took away most of the hair. But, I could not get the smooth finish which I was looking for. The baby hair were still there, that I eventually took out from a reusable strip.  They were so tiny that it was hardly visible on the reusable strip either.  

However, I would say that this is more suited for sensitive skin than reusable strips or threading becuase it didn’t make my skin inflamed.

So in my opinion, the pen is a best product so far for the sensitive skin as it takes 95% of the hair without causing any redness or itching. However, to get a salon effect, you must use it in combination with reusable stripes.
