Bordeaux red being in the family of red/burgundy is a good alternative to red lipsticks, especially for night time or fall because being an unapologetically bold colour it has the power to alleviate any makeup look and can steal the show simply on its own.

Texture
What I love about it is that it is extremely hydrating and provides lasting moisture to help relieve lip flaking. The texture is very smooth and which leaves the lips soft and supple.
Lasting
The lipstick stays very well for about 6-7 hours. Unfortunately, like most of the other lipsticks it fades as you drink or eat. However, it does leave behind a good stain.
Enriched with Vitamin E & C | Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip
I find it amazing that Your Majesty, despite being a non-matte and creamy formulation, stays longer on the lips than any other non-matte lipstick, which is no ordinary feat. Its texture is super moisturizing and doesn’t feel dry because it is enriched with vitamins E and C. Moreover, the rich formulation makes lips feel as if they are getting a luxurious treatment, so it’s hydrating and comfortable.
True to its claim, LUXE LIPSTICK – YOUR MAJESTY is very pigmented, and a single swipe provides full coverage through its angular-shaped tip. Unfortunately, it came off when I ate or drank, but due to its dark color, it left behind a good stain on the lips.

Bordeaux red is considered a universally appealing color for women of all skin tones. But, I think for brown skin girls, it is considerably an easy color to pull off as opposed to the pale skin tones because of the yellow undertones in our skin tone. Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip – Your Majesty is heavily perfumed and has a floral scent. So, it could be a bit irritating for people, who don’t like fragrances in makeup. But as a fragrance lover, I’m hooked to it and just love it.
Finally, one thing I have noticed is that Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip – Your Majesty doesn’t come off as vampy or as intense bold color as it has been claimed on other beauty reviews. Maybe it is so because of my brown skin tone, or perhaps due to the fact that I have used darker lip colors in similar shades than Your Majesty before.
But one thing it has cleared for sure is that brown girls need not be afraid of it. And for pale girls, I would say that what is life without trying some of these vampy colors in your life.
Overall, Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip – Your Majesty is majestic enough to give a full-on glam look and is suitable for any skin type
