I consider the Russian Red MAC Lipstick a true investment in makeup as it is a beautiful maroonish-red shade that lasts a long time and complements any makeup look.
One of the great qualities of pigmented or bold lipsticks is that you can just rock your look with the lipstick and an eyeliner. So on those days when you’re not in a creative mood, just go with it, and voila! It will instantly brighten up your mood and your face!
Russian Red is the GOAT of MAC lipsticks, but it all depends on your preference. If you love Ruby Woo more, you should invest in it, or if you prefer Russian Red more, go and invest in it. And if you love both, like me, well, get them both!

- Disappointing new formulation that has taken away the extreme matte finish from Russian Red MAC Lipstick
- Fades if you eat or drink
- Expensive (however, the longevity and quality of the product are worth the price)
