Today’s review is about AMC Lip Pencil Matte from Inglot Cosmetics, which is a polish brand. One of the best quality about Inglot Cosmetics is that its a cruelty-free brand and now they are also featuring the vegan products as well. Although it’s an old brand and was launched in 1986, the popularity didn’t kick off until Inglot launched its store in 2006 in Canada. After the international launch , it received world-wide acclaim. AMC are basically lip crayons that function as full fledge lipsticks too. The cute thing is that these pencils have a sharper attachment at the end so, if you want to fine tune the lip crayon then you can do so. Most of the lip crayons that I have used crack if used as a lipstick and the flakes come off, but it is not so the case with Inglot AMC. They work as beautiful matte lipsticks.
All the shades that I picked, I made sure to select bold shades in order to minimize my risks. Because, I was afraid it might not work as a lipstick at all. But then Inglot Cosmetics, proved me wrong and turned out to be quite a beauty. I bought these beautiful three shades, a nude, a reddish, and a purple.
Color 22:
This is a warm nutty brown shade and compliments brown skin tone really well. It will look great with a nude lipstick like Sierra from NYX but you can definitely wear it alone. I have used the 002 lip gloss, which is a copper-gold shade from Ingrid Cosmetics to plump up my lips while using this beautiful color 22 as a lipstick.
I think color 22 is a versatile nude color for day time /evening wear . And, if you are on the hunt for a nutty brown tone then its a wonderful shade, especially as it looks gorgeous on brown skin with yellow undertones. Color 22 is the one that you can wear all year around and literally with any kind of eye makeup.
Color 42
This one is a neutral reddish copper shade similar to chili from MAC. Although, it looks more reddish on my brown skin tone with yellow undertones and I think more of like a brownish ruby woo. However, if you don’t want a red lip stain and want to try something different other than red and pink, then color 42 is the one for you.
Being a matte shade, I consider that you can wear it in the day time as well. And, with heavy makeup it will definitely glam up your makeup.
