Aicha’s Experience of NYX Maison Matte Lipstick
Winter is the perfect time to try something new and step outside of your comfort zone, which is why I was so excited to experiment with Maison, the latest lipstick from NYX Cosmetics. This creamy, neutral shade is a beautiful twist on the ordinary brown nudes that we all know and love.
One thing I love about Maison is how smooth and silky it feels on my lips. Unlike other lipsticks that can leave your lips feeling dry, Maison is infused with vitamin E, providing much-needed hydration throughout the day. And the best part? It lasts longer, too!
But there is a minor downside – it does transfer. However, this can be easily fixed by using a dark brown lip pencil to accentuate its beauty and keep it in place.
Maison is a light chocolate brown shade with a semi-matte, silky finish. It’s not your average nude – it’s edgy and perfect for the winter/autumn season. I love how it looks with minimal makeup, just a quick swipe of eyeliner and you’re good to go. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even mix and match it with other lipsticks to create a new look every day.
In my opinion, Maison is a must-try for those with Indian or Olive skin tones. However, it might wash out darker skin tones and be too bold for paler skin tones. But don’t just take my word for it!
And for an ethereal look, try pairing Maison with a red lip liner and a touch of lip gloss. You’ll love the result!
